Cancel or change your subscription
Cancel in two clicks, what happens next, resume a subscription or switch rank.
Contents
You can cancel your subscription at any time, online, with no fee and no justification. No email to send, no notice period: one button is enough.
Cancelling
- Go to Account settings › Billing.
- Under Current subscription, click Cancel my subscription.
- You land directly on the cancellation page of Stripe, our payment provider: confirm.
- You are taken back to the website, and you receive a confirmation email with the effective date.
What happens next
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid. Your rank and its perks stay active until then: the page shows "Cancellation recorded: your rank stays active until …".
- No further charge happens after that date.
- On the effective date, the subscription stops and you receive a last email confirming it.
Tip — Changed your mind before the effective date? Click Resume or manage my subscription: you can undo the cancellation, and the subscription carries on as before.
Switching rank
From the Shop, click Switch to this rank under the rank you want:
- the change is immediate;
- the unused part of your current rank is credited, and the new one is charged pro rata;
- both lines appear on your next invoice.
A running promotion does not apply to a rank change: it is reserved for new subscriptions.
Resuming after it ends
Your subscription has ended? For a month, a banner offers to resume it in one click. You can also, at any time, go back to the Shop and subscribe again: it is then a new subscription, which benefits from running promotions.
Special cases
| Situation | What to know |
|---|---|
| You are banned | The billing page stays accessible: you can cancel as usual. A sanction does not cancel the subscription by itself. |
| Rank granted by the team | There is nothing to pay or cancel: billing says so. |
| You want to withdraw within 14 days | That is not a cancellation: see Withdrawal and refunds. |
| A payment failed | Update your payment method: see Billing and invoices. |
Good to know — Deleting your account is not a clean way to stop a recurring payment: cancel your subscription first from billing.
