PVPFaction Connect is PVPFACTION's mobile app: your messages, your friends, your faction, your live vitals and voice chat, from your phone. It uses the same account as the website.
Good to know — The app is currently in French only. The labels quoted below are the French ones you'll see on screen.
Installing the app
The app is available for Android 8 or later, as an .apk file, on the website's
Download page.
- Open the Download page from your phone and download the PVPFaction Connect file.
- Open the downloaded file. Android asks you to allow installing from your browser: accept for this installation.
- Launch the app.
Tip — The download page shows the SHA-256 fingerprint of each file: it lets you check the file hasn't been tampered with.
Connecting your account
The app doesn't ask for your password: it gets authorised on the website, like a trusted device.
- In the app, tap "Connecter mon compte" (connect my account). It gets a code and opens the website's authorisation page.
- Sign in to the website if needed, check the code and authorise the device.
- The app signs in automatically.
The app gets full access to your account. You'll find it in Settings › My devices on the website, where you can revoke it at any time (lost phone, for example).

Game features (faction, activity, squad, voice chat) require a linked Minecraft account.
Push notifications
The app can notify you of a private message or a game event that concerns you (a bounty placed on your head, for example), never while you're in game. Both are set in Settings › Privacy on the website: see Notifications.
Tapping a news notification opens the article straight in the app.
