Creating your website account
Why a website account, how to open one (e-mail or Discord) and what it unlocks.
Contents
You don't need a website account to play: the server recognises you by your Minecraft account. But a website account, linked to your username, unlocks a lot: messaging, friends, faction channels from your phone, vote tracking, the mobile app, voice chat, the shop.
Signing up
Go to the website's Sign up page. Two ways to create your account:
- With your e-mail address and a password. The password must be at least 10 characters long; avoid common or obvious passwords.
- With Discord ("Sign up with Discord"): your Discord account is your login, no password needed.
After signing up by e-mail, a verification link is sent to you. Click it to confirm your address; if it hasn't arrived, your profile lets you resend it.
Tip — Sign-ups can be temporarily closed (maintenance, a new season opening). The sign-up page tells you so.
Your name on the website
You don't choose a username on the website: your display name is your Minecraft username as soon as your account is linked. Before linking, you appear as "Joueur#XXXX" (a generic name, the same in every language). If you change your Minecraft username, the website follows automatically.
Signing in
On the Sign in page, three options:
| Method | How |
|---|---|
| E-mail + password | the classic way; "Forgot password?" sends a reset link |
| Discord | "Continue with Discord" |
| Passkey | fingerprint, face or your device's PIN, no password — add one first in your settings |
If you turned on two-factor authentication, a code is requested after your password. See Two-factor authentication and Securing your account.
Next step: link your Minecraft account
A website account without a linked Minecraft account stays limited: messaging, your inventory, faction channels and voice chat all require linking. The website reminds you with a "Link now" banner. It takes two minutes: Linking your Minecraft account.
