Updates, events, maintenance, community life: everything happening on PVPFACTION is announced in the news. You can follow it in several ways.

On the website

The News page lists articles, newest first:

  • featured articles are highlighted at the top of the first page;
  • categories filter the list: Announcement, Update, Event, Maintenance, Community, Behind the scenes;
  • a search finds an article by its title or content.

Each article shows its category, author, date (and update date), reading time and a table of contents. At the bottom of the article:

  • reactions (👍 ❤️ 🔥 😂 😮) — you must be signed in to your account to react;
  • a Share button that copies the article's link;
  • links to the previous and next article.

An article not yet translated into your language shows in the other one, with a banner telling you so.

In game

  • When an article is published, every online player gets an announcement in their language, with the category and title. [Read] opens the article; hovering shows its summary.
  • /actus (alias /news) lists the latest articles, with their date and category; each line is clickable.
  • When you log in, if a recent article came out while you were away, a "Latest news" reminder tells you. If there are several, clicking "(+N more: /news)" runs the list.

On your phone

The PVPFaction Connect app has a News section, and a card on the home screen. When an article is announced, you can get a notification: tapping it opens the article in the app.

By RSS feed

The news is available as an RSS feed, to follow it in your feed reader: the link is on the News page (one feed in English, one in French).

Important announcements

Depending on their importance, articles can also be announced in the website bell, by e-mail (if you accepted announcement e-mails) and on Discord. To choose what you receive, see Notifications.
