Welcome area

The welcome area is where every new player appears on their first login. It's a floating platform, in a separate world, fully protected: nobody can attack you there or break blocks. You stay as long as you need to get ready, then leave with a single click.

What you get on arrival

• A starting balance, credited once, on your first entry into the welcome area. It gets you going, and in particular lets you create a faction.
• Two items in your hotbar:

Both items are removed when you leave the welcome area: they're only useful there.

The three steps

Three signs float above the platform, and a chat message repeats them with clickable links:

1. Your menu — /menu (or right-click the compass): access to the whole server. See Main menu.
2. Your kit — /kit recrue: your starter gear, free and single-use. See Kits.
3. Your faction — /f create <name>: create your faction right now, or wait to join one. See Factions.

No step is mandatory: you can leave whenever you want.

Leaving the welcome area

Right-click the star. The server teleports you to a random spot in the game world, away from other factions' bases. A message reminds you that /menu is always available.

Careful — Once in the world, PvP is on and the welcome area is no longer reachable: it's reserved for your first login. On later logins, you come back where you logged out.

Frequently asked questions

I fell off the platform. Don't panic: below a certain height, the welcome area automatically puts you back on the platform.

I lost the compass or the star. The menu is still available with /menu. To leave without the star, ask a staff member for help in game or on Discord.

Can I come back to the welcome area later? No: it's only for arrival. To travel afterwards, see Getting around.
