Spending money

What costs money on the server, how much, and who pays (you or your faction's bank).

Money is mostly used to travel and to grow your faction. Some expenses come out of your pocket, others out of your faction's bank.

What you pay yourself

ExpensePrice
Creating a faction (/f create)$100
Teleporting to the faction home (/f home)$25
Setting the home (/f home set)$30
Teleporting to a faction warp (/f warp)$150
Creating or deleting a warp$5
Reserving a chunk for a player (/f owner)$15
Random teleport (/rtp)$100, refunded if it fails
Teleporting to a player (/tpa)$300
Starting a weather vote$250, refunded if the vote fails
Joining the End event queue$5,000, refunded if you leave it yourself

Zaap teleports have their own price scale, and bounties their own fees: see their pages.

What the faction bank pays

ExpensePrice
Claiming a chunk$500 + $375 per chunk already owned (see Territory)
Territory upkeepEvery day, depending on territory and balance (see Upkeep)
Shield$5,000 per hour (see The shield)
Upgrades$250,000 to $6,000,000 per level (see Upgrades)

What you lose without spending it

On every death, you lose 5 to 10% of the money you carry: half drops to the ground as coins, the other half disappears. Money deposited in your faction's bank is not touched.

The cheapest way to cross the map is still the zaap network. Warps and /tpa are the most expensive.
