The voice mod (Fabric and NeoForge)
Proximity voice right inside Minecraft, with its keys and its pairing.

The PVPFaction Voice mod brings proximity voice chat right into the game: no need to keep a tab or an application open on the side. It joins the same voice room as the other clients: a player using the mod hears those on the browser or the desktop app.

The mod is not offered on the website's Download page yet: the two official clients listed today are the desktop app and the Android app.
First use: pairing
Just like the desktop app, the mod never asks for your password:
- The first time you press N, the mod starts pairing and shows in chat an address to open and a code.
- Open the address, log in to the website, type the code and authorise the device. The code can also be entered under Account settings › Devices.
- The mod picks up its access on its own ("appairé !") and connects. This access is for voice only. If you wait too long, pairing expires: press N again.
The mod then automatically downloads a small companion program that handles audio. It is stored in
the game folder (pvpfaction-voice/) and its fingerprint is checked before every use: a modified
file is rejected.
Tip — If the website ever refuses the mod's access (device revoked, for instance), the mod forgets its configuration and offers to pair again.

All of them can be changed under Options › Controls, category PVPFaction Voice. The mode key has no default so that it does not clash with your other mods.
In game
- The action bar tells you how many players are talking near you ("[Voix] 2 parle(nt) à proximité"). It never shows the total number of players in range: that would be a radar.
- The mod's messages (connection, microphone mode, pairing) appear in your chat, prefixed with "[Voix]". They are currently in French only.
- Range, world and privacy rules are the same as for the other clients: see Proximity voice chat.
Mods and the rules
The voice mod is an official mod of the server: using it is perfectly fine. Other mods remain subject to the usual rules, detailed on Anti-cheat and allowed mods.
