Creating your faction
/f create <name>
- Creating a faction costs $100, paid out of your own pocket.
- The name (the "tag") is 3 to 10 characters long, letters and digits only, and must be free. Some names may be reserved by the staff.
- You must leave your current faction first.
- You become the leader of the new faction, and its creation is announced to the whole server.
A newly created faction is closed: people can only join it by invitation.
Inviting players
| Command | Effect | Who can |
|---|---|---|
/f invite <player> [duration] | Invites a player. The invitation lasts 7 days by default, 30 days at most (7d, 12h, 30m…). | Whoever has the "invite" permission |
/f deinvite <player> | Cancels a pending invitation. | Whoever has the "invite" permission |
/f showinvites | Lists pending invitations. | Any member |
/f open | Opens or closes the faction: when open, anyone can join without an invitation. | Co-leader and leader |
After inviting someone, you must wait 1 hour before you can invite them again.
By default, the leader, co-leaders and moderators can invite; you change that with
/f perm(see Ranks and permissions).
Joining a faction
/f join <faction>
You can join a faction that invited you, or an open faction. A faction holds at most 30 members; the "Faction members" upgrade raises that limit (see Upgrades).
You arrive at the faction's default rank: recruit, unless the leader changed it.
Leaving, kicking, banning
| Command | Effect |
|---|---|
/f leave | Leaves your faction. |
/f kick <player> | Kicks a member ranked below you ("kick" permission). |
/f ban <player> | Bans a player from the faction: they can no longer join it. |
/f unban <player> | Lifts that ban. |
/f ban list | Lists the players banned from the faction. |
Handing over or disbanding
- Hand over leadership:
/f transfer <player>. The new leader takes your place and you become co-leader. Do this before leaving a faction you lead. - Alone in your faction, you cannot leave it: disband it with
/f disband. - Disbanding:
/f disband, for the leader (or whoever was given the permission). A confirmation window opens before the faction is disbanded, and the disbanding is announced to the whole server.
Presenting your faction
| Command | Effect | Minimum rank |
|---|---|---|
/f tag <new name> | Renames the faction (same rules as at creation). | Co-leader |
/f desc <text> | Changes the description shown in /f show (256 characters at most). | Moderator |
Links and IP addresses are refused in the description, as they are in titles, rules and warp names.
